3D Doberman File

Description

This canine is being 3D printed in a polished smooth flexible plastic. This plastic will be further smoothed and prepared, before I will mold it in rubber and cast it in a ridged plastic. The end goal is a Ball Jointed Doberman that will be painted with enamel or epoxy paints so it doesn't chip.

It is scaled at ten inches just at the tip of the ears, which makes it acceptable to go with 16-19 inch ball jointed dolls. The eye sockets are empty in the printed file, which means it will accept glass or resin eyes of the buyer's choice.

I looked around and couldn't find a substantial amount of animal bjds that were not anthromorphic. So I decided to make my own that isn't super cutesy or 'chibi' like. As such this is something meant to go with people's character, not as a prop, but as a companion that can stand on its own.

If this becomes popular, I would love to make not only change-out heads of a smiling or growling variety, but I would like to make other animals. I know there is a GORGEOUS feline already in production here- [link]

I used her cat as a frame of reference on how to build my canine's joints, and as such I do not plan to make a housecat to honor her stunning work. If I do make a feline? It would be a large variety such as a panther or saber cat.

Cool idea...Would love to see what it looks like when it's sent back. This is something to think about when I'm more experienced with printing. Going to try it for the first time soon.
